Our First Home

On Sunday, July 18, 2004, our first Readers Service (Typica) was conducted by Reader James Mitchell in our first Home, an Episcopal Church near the Corner of Rt 161 and High Street in Worthington, Ohio. The 9:30 AM service lasted only a half hour but it marked the first "official" gathering of our mission group. The following Sunday, we had another Typica service while we awaited assignment of a priest for the mission. This was our starting Group:

 

Finally....our First Divine Liturgy at All Saints in our original location. The altar was loaned to us by the ROCOR church. We thank them for their cooperation. A Special thanks to St John's Episcopal church for graciously providing a place to worship during our very early formative time. They are truly stewards of Christ and have started several churches out of their property.
